CuP Alloys will be attending the 2020 London Model Engineering Exhibition

We’re pleased to confirm the dates for the 2020 London Model Engineering Exhibition, held at Alexandra Palace:

Friday 17th to Sunday 20th January 2020

Doors open daily at 10:00am

Where to Find us

You’ll find us on our usual pitch – Stand No. 5, located next to the organisers’ office. As you enter the venue, turn left and we’ll be on your left-hand side. There is plenty of parking available, supported by a free shuttle bus service running directly to the exhibition doors.

What We’ll Have on the Stand

As always, we’ll be bringing a wide selection of high-quality products, all clearly labelled so you know exactly what you’re buying — and priced at what many customers now recognise as outstanding value.

We’ll have eight alloys in stock, available in up to eight rod and wire sizes, alongside a comprehensive range of metal joining materials, including:

  • High- and low-temperature silver solders 18%–56% silver rods, wires, pastes, and foil
  • Flux-cored soft solders for aluminium and stainless steel
  • High- and low-temperature soft solders
  • Specialist soft solders with both high and low silver content
  • Alloys suitable for boilermaking, aircraft undercarriages, boat handrails, clocks, and jewellery
  • Propane torches and accessories from the Sievert® range
  • Precision oxy-gas torches
  • Small portable fixed-head torches and pencil torches

We’ll also be demonstrating our insulation blanket, designed to speed up heating times — so effective you can even silver solder on a dining room table.

Advice, Demonstrations, and Learning

One of the highlights of the show is the opportunity to discuss your metal joining challenges with us in person. Whether you’re troubleshooting a joint or starting something new, we’re always happy to help.

For more structured learning, we also offer a digital download video covering the principles of silver soldering, including joint design and heating techniques for producing strong, leak-tight joints.

A True One-Stop Shop for Model Engineers

Everything we bring to the show supports our goal of being a truly comprehensive one-stop shop for metal joining for the model engineer. We look forward to seeing you at Alexandra Palace and welcoming you to the stand.
