Copper-Phosphorus Alloys

Our copper-phosphorus and silver-copper-phosphorus alloys (0–15% silver) offer reliable joining of copper to copper without the need for additional flux.

The phosphorus content acts as a natural fluxing agent, streamlining the brazing process and reducing material costs. When used with a suitable flux, these alloys also provide effective joining of brass and other copper alloys, ensuring broad compatibility across refrigeration and HVAC systems.

Silver-Copper-Phosphorus Alloys

For joints exposed to low temperatures or vibration, silver-copper-phosphorus alloys provide enhanced ductility and strength. The addition of silver improves joint performance and flexibility, suitable for extreme environments down to –40°C.

These alloys are intended for joining copper to copper without flux, or copper to brass when combined with a flux. They are not suitable for ferrous metals, including mild steel.
