Refund policy

Your statutory rights are not affected by this policy. If any provision of this Returns Policy conflicts with your statutory rights, your statutory rights will always take precedence.

 

1. Overview

At CuP Alloys (Metal Joining) Ltd, we want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If you are not happy with your order, you have the right to return or exchange eligible items under the conditions outlined below.

 

2. Returns Period

You have 30 days from the date you receive your goods to notify us that you wish to return an item for a refund or exchange. If more than 30 days have passed since delivery, unfortunately we cannot guarantee a refund or exchange unless the item is faulty.

 

3. Conditions for Returns

To be eligible for a refund or exchange: Items must be unused, uninstalled, and in the same condition that you received them. Items must be returned in their original packaging, with all accessories, labels, and any promotional items included. Proof of purchase (such as your order confirmation or receipt) must be provided.

Please note we cannot accept returns for:

  • Gift cards or digital/downloadable products
  • Bespoke or made-to-order items, unless faulty.

 

4. Faulty or Damaged Goods

If your item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us at sales@cupalloys.co.uk within 30 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund at no cost to you, in line with your statutory consumer rights.

 

5. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email confirmation. If approved, a refund will be issued to your original method of payment within 14 calendar days of us receiving the returned goods. If you paid for standard delivery, this cost will also be refunded (but any upgraded delivery options will not).

Partial refunds may be issued in certain cases, for example where:

  • The returned item is not in its original condition or missing parts not due to our error.
  • The return is made after the 30-day window but within a reasonable period allowed by law.

 

6. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet:

  • Check your bank or card account again.
  • Contact your credit card provider – processing times can vary.
  • Contact your bank – some may take additional days to post a refund.

7. Sale Items

Sale or clearance items are non-refundable, unless they are faulty or not as described.

 

8. Exchanges

9. How to Return an Item

Please send your return to: CuP Alloys (Metal Joining) Ltd 154 Mandalay Rd, Pleasley, Mansfield, NG19 7TJ, United Kingdom Customers are responsible for the cost of returning non-faulty goods.

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part or a faulty item. If your return is valued over £75, we recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service. We cannot guarantee receipt of returned items sent without tracking.
